When you get anxious, panicky or just plain stressed out from teen-hood, learn to take it all in stride with these 14 chill out tips...
1.plan a relaxing day
Block off a time when you dont have to think of school. Leave your cellphone at home as well as your watch or any gadget that can distract you from your down time. For any emergencies, be sure to tell your family and friends where you'll be. Or if you just be at home, veg in bed with a good book and soothing music!
2.visit a place you'vealways wanted to go to
If you've save enough money, then use it! o outof town or even out of the country and treat your self to a tour! Short on cash? Why not visit a childhood haunt-a old park, neighborhood restaurant, etc. Invite a friend and reminisce about your most embarassin or weirdest out of this world little girl experiences.
3.bring yourself to an isolated place
Whether it's in top of your roof to stare at the sky or inside your bedroom, looking out the window. Look at the world around you. Think about the life you have now. What are you most thankful for? What would you like to enhance? What would you like to lessen? this way you get to prioritize this without stressing.
4.exercise
Make a compilation of songs that will put you in motion. Lie downon a thick blanket and get started with some stretching. Then radually intensify your workout with sit-ups, jumping jacks and a creation of your own moves.
5.dance
Lock the door to your room and put a ''don't disturb'' sign outside. Imaine that you're the star in the dance recital and everyone's watching you roove! ive it all you've ot, girl!
